The 'Processing Fee' Scam

The 'Bank Upgrade' Scam
Scammer claims your bank account needs upgrading to receive the loan. They request your BVN, account details, and OTP to 'upgrade' your account.

After loan approval, scammer demands you pay for 'loan insurance' or 'guarantee fee' before disbursement.
The Impersonation Scam

Scammer says your loan is approved but 'stuck' due to CBN or CRB issues. They request a fee to 'clear' the block.
The Data Harvesting Scam
App collects your BVN, contacts, photos, and personal data but never actually offers loans. Your data is sold or used for identity theft.
